The Remembering Course™
A living golf environment that observes, remembers, and responds — while remaining strictly bounded by declared human intent.
What This Is
The Remembering Course™ is a proof domain for Intent-Bound Course Intelligence (IBCI) — a system architecture in which environmental adaptation is explicitly constrained by player-declared intent.
This mirrors Intent-Bound Authorization systems used in agentic AI, applied to a physical environment where trust, fairness, and human agency must be preserved.
The Prime Constraint
A course may not adapt, optimize, or respond outside the scope of explicitly declared intent.
The Intent Test
Declare how you want the system to engage. The intelligence does not change — only its permission.
Intelligence with intent becomes trust.
Any adaptive system — AI, environment, institution — must be constrained by declared human intent or it will eventually overreach.
Golf is not the insight.
It is the safest place to prove it.
Non-Goals
This system explicitly rejects opaque optimization, hidden difficulty scaling, autonomous performance targeting, and outcome manipulation.
Governance
IBCI systems are auditable by design. Memory is longitudinal. Intent is revocable. Human primacy is non-negotiable.
intent must always come first.
